Bull Creek

On Sunday for Earth Week Vivian's school and I had planned a work session at the Bull Creek Park. George was to meet the volunteers with work tools in the parking lot and we planned to put in 2-3 hours of work cleaning the park. Instead George took the kids and parents for a lovely walk through the park, stopping at a giant live oak, an abandoned 100-year old house and finally for a nice splash in a swimming hole.

And Vivian and her friends did pick up a bag full of trash along the way.

I couldn't help but notice that, In the first photo, Evan is listening intently to George while everyone else is gazing elsewhere. Good skill to have - whether he's listening or feigning interest, it makes for a nice photo. More proof that one day, Evan's gonna be a politician.
