Vivian's led a pretty sheltered life so far. She has met less that a hundred people so far. Most of you were one shots so far - a quick peek while napping or fussing. She's seen Grandma, Nicolle, the Shahs and a few others maybe twice. If Vivian's temporal lobe were to give off light every time she see's a face she has seen before, chances are that these faces give off gentle twinkles of faint stars.
Then there are Boob and Hairy. She probably recognized Boob right away, having been inside her since the beninning of life. She just needed to figure out what Boob looked like from the outside. That first deep penetrating gaze between mother and child in the first few monents after birth took care of that. Between mouthfuls, she still gazes at Boob's face and especially her eyes to make sure it really is Boob. But mostly, Boob is just that - her source of nourishment.
