I wrote earlier about Evan's attachment to his Halloween candy. Unlike Vivian he wasn't willing to trade his candy for his confiscated toys and stuff. Ten days after Halloween he still asks with a hopeful smile every morning "Dada - can I eat some candy? Please!"
We took the kids to Amy's for lunch. They ate their hot dogs reluctantly
under threat of not getting any ice cream if they didn't eat their
lunch first. Then Jo got them their ice cream. Vivian wouldn't even come
back to the table from the play scape. "I'm not that hungry." Evan ate a
little bit and then ran off to play.
