Because I was with my dad in the hospital, Jo played an Indian at Evan's school when they needed someone from an exotic place. She took them Indian dress-up clothes and Indian snacks and explained Diwali to the kids. She had some left-over diyas and Vivian and Evan painted them today in preparation for Diwali. Jo asked if I was turning all Indian on her. Just because I usually forget to celebrate Diwali.
