The Millican House

The other evening Simran and Jo and the kids and I were driving around west campus after filling ourselves with TCBY. We stopped by the old Millican House to look in on her. She looks strange. Like a plumb painted straightened out version of her old self. I peered in through the glass next to the front door and took a picture of the lobby.

A lot of history in these walls. Short. Intense. Sweet. Simran was three back then. The kids weren't even a glint in their mamma's eye.  Their mamma was my date at the old Millican house twelve Christmases ago.
