Last weekend we were in Houston for Brandon's seventh birthday. I vividly remember the day he was born. Laura drove herself to the base hospital at Fort Hood. Jo was very pregnant with Vivian. Patrick was in Iraq. Vivian and Brandon have been at each other's birthdays since except when we were in India.
This year the party was at a roller skate rink. Vivian rolled around very confidently with the walker. Evan needed the walker and Mom. The kids played hard and slept all the way back to Austin.
