Boxed in Marfa

We woke up in Alpine and headed up the highway back to Marfa in the morning. We drove through town and past some concrete structures beside the highway towards Presidio and got curious and made a u-turn and came back up for a closer look. It turned out to be "Chinati Week" in Marfa - which is why all the hotel rooms in town were booked up last night. As we drove up to the Chinati Foundation, we saw these sculptures outside and that piqued our interest.

So I dragged the kids and Carol and Jo through the Judd collection. It was amazing. Or at least Vivian thought so.

This is the look on Vivian's face when she found the "perfect" box from among the 100 in the Judd collection.  Evan on the other hand wasn't interested. He got a splinter in his foot and demanded to be carried around.
