The school's Field Day has been hanging over us like a dark cloud for a few weeks now. Jo is one of the main organizers and this is the third year she's done it. At first we hopefully thought it would never stop raining and that would be that. But the weather didn't oblige. So we got the kids ready an hour before they normally would and headed out to the Murchison school grounds in two cars.
And about five hours later we were done, packed, and headed back home. The entire event went off without a hitch and Jo was probably the only person who noticed when something wasn't running on schedule or wasn't being done the way it should have.
Vivian's class had the best, longest, most cheerish cheer though I didn't understand a word as it was all in Spanish.
