More Fun With Slime

You can tell we like slime. And this was a particularly good batch. They played with it and made a huge mess and Evan ran around saying "Vivian - the slime polymerized my hand". And Vivian got this manic look on her face. And then they didn't clean up very well so the slime got thrown away. In any case the corn starch was beginning to turn.

But they can't play with slime all summer. So this conversation took place a week or so ago.

"Jo - we should put our kids in camp"
"Why? I like that they have some down time"
"Because we are lazy parents and we don't actually do anything with them and everybody else's children are getting smarter and learning new skills while ours are playing with slime"

So Jo looked up camps and a few minutes later Vivian was signed up for a clay workshop at Laguna Gloria and Evan was set to attend a week of martial arts from around the world at a Magellan parent's Kung-Fu studio. We know people who sign their kids up for camps in January. Their children are learning movie making from Robert Rodriguez or are building Lego robots with C3PO.

Oh well. We aren't camp people. But - at least Evan's hands are not getting polymerized.
