Everything is bigger in Texas. Even our brains. Till the recent House Bill proved us wrong by trying to make open carry legal. To carry a concealed weapon you need classroom training and proficiency and a background check.
According to the new bill you don't need to conceal the weapon and a police officer will not be able to ask you for a license for your openly carried "concealed" weapon. Oxymoron? Nope - just morons.
At a traffic stop:
"Sir you were speeding in a school zone?"
"Oh - sorry, I didn't notice"
"That was dangerous. Can I see your driver's license?"
"Sure"
"Is that an Uzi you are carrying?"
"Fuck off - you can't ask me about that"
Or what about if your last name was Tsarnaev and you were loitering around with an open carry at the start of the Austin 10K? Would you be granted the same rights as a open-carry patriot? Thankfully Ruben Bolling explains.
