Ava celebrated turning nine yesterday. Like Grace she can light up a room with her smile. Though she has a slightly impish smile that makes you wonder what she is up to. Her birthday theme was camo. Camo headbands, camo table cloth, camo plates and glasses, dog tags and even face paint. The grown-ups kept joking that we couldn't see anything because it/they were all camouflaged.
The girls are smiling. The boys are a different story. Kai is grinning. Evan is really serious - this is no laughing matter. And Cade is sad - he wasn't happy about Mama Cole rubbing the grease pencil all over his face.
