Remember Abe - the cat with the tiny brain? You may recall that he has a peeing habit - it's a habit of his to pee on everything. When we started looking for ideas to transition him somewhere else, Vivian suggested that we could give him to someone. Who, we asked. She replied "Someone who wants a cat who pees on everything".
We almost found one such person and were close to sending him on a one-way trip to a horse ranch in Oklahoma (really). But that fell through. I suggested taking him back to the animal shelter from where we had got him six years ago and asking for our money back. That's when Carol said she would take him in as a companion for sweet gentle Milie, her outdoor cat. It was done no sooner than the words had left her mouth and in the time-honored tradition of dropping off aging or incontinent pets at Carol's, Abe is now an outdoor resident at Lariat Ridge.
Abie - a nice personality can only take you so far. Buh bye now.
