Room with a view

We had a seven hour lay-over before our flight to Hilo. The kids wanted to go to the beach, so we dropped in on a patch of sand between two very large hotels in Waikiki. Here's the requisite photo with Diamond Head in the background.

When we landed in Hilo it was almost dark. By the time we reached the vacation house you couldn't see the tip of your nose. So we woke up this morning and were surprised to find that we were perched on a ridge above a lush green forest with a couple of waterfalls in our backyard.
