After our last baffling experience with the fortune cookies, it felt like we needed to get back on the horse again or give up riding for good. So on Monday after Vivian's Gardening Club we went back to China Cafe. Evan attempted to throw up on the table but it was apparently a feint.
When the time came, Mariam heaped the kids with eight fortune cookies which they stuffed into their pockets. Back at home, Vivian and Evan emptied the fortune cookie packets on to the dining table. Among the crumbs we found one fortune that redeemed the last set.
