So we called ahead and when we got to Tahaa we dropped in for a late lunch. It was just as Jerome had described - the best and most memorable meal of the trip. The succulent pork, fresh lobster in warm butter, poisson cru, and shrimp in curry butter were perfectly complemented with wine, bread and rice. For dessert she gave each skipper a big box of fresh island fruit - including papaya, lichi (hairy balls) and grapefruit to take back.
When we finished eating and were thanking Chez Louise for lunch, she mentioned to me that Beel Gates had eaten there three times - and he comes over on his private yacht. I was sitting across from Tim. So I told her that Beel may be a frequent visitor, but did she know that this was Teem's first time? She seemed suitably impressed and will perhaps tell some future customer that Teem O'Day has come here to eat once.
Vivian, Alexandra and Evan ran around, sat and ate at their own table, and had a great time too.
