A Year Ago
Today a year ago we landed back in the United States. We had left India and spent Easter with Laurel and Caroline in Hong Kong and then flown via Tokyo to Honolulu. When we reached the vacation home in Hilo the kids showered and sat down on the tatami mat floor for their first look at American television in a while.
A few days later we moved to Kona and Jen took this photo of Evan and me at our tiny little Manini beach. And we'll be back there in a couple of weeks.
