Easter Dinner

I don't go in for food porn but I'm going to have to make an exception here. This was my wife's Easter plate. It looks nice. Carol's fried chicken. Baby spinach and kale salad with strawberries and pecans. Jo's homemade scalloped potatoes. And blackaroni. See the book of food essays that Karen Valby contributed to for a full story on blackroni. The food tasted as good as it looked. And the best part - it was all cooked by others. I showed up and ate till I couldn't move. Kids did the same. And then they ate some more Easter candy.
