It poured all Friday afternoon and then dripped into Saturday morning. Though Vivian was still on antibiotics for her strep infection, by Saturday morning the puddles were calling out to her. She and Eleanor played bare-feet in puddles and the little streams that ran down the curbs like children in India in the monsoons. Here she's holding up a leaf that she made a face out of.
When she was done she took a bubble bath and then as the rain had finally stopped we biked down to Epicerie and enjoyed a hot chocolate with frothed milk and the best chocolate chip cookies in town and a nice glass of wine.
