Blue Diamond

Alu, my dear brother isn't on Facebook. But he is in Blue Diamond. It's a old-school Chinese restaurant in Hyderabad - from before they started the newer authentic Chinese food places. The food is Hyderabadi Chinese. I'm willing to put money down that Chicken 65 is their most popular dish.

I ate there a lot. With Alu and my dear friend Raju. And Alu ate there about ten times more often than I did. So I wasn't surprised when Sharath sent me this photo this morning (night there). I posted it on FB and here's the photo and comments.

I showed the photo to Jo and the kids. When we were in Hyderabad we got take-away very frequently from a new branch of one of the oldest Hyderabadi Chinese joints - Nanking. Jo misses the food dearly. Enough to be planning a trip back.
