It rained in July. And for a few days it wasn't so hot. So everything in the yard is charred now, but that was a nice break. So nice in fact that we forgot that summer is a bad time to do anything in the garden. Last weekend we drove south practically to Mexico to buy plants from It's About Thyme. Vivian dragged the Radio Flyer around while Jo and I put pots in it. Evan hung out the rail yard. And stayed in his jamies all day.
When we came back home it rained again. So Jo didn't take any chances and planted all the plants that night.
