My World

We took a family picture. I balanced my camera on a old TV carton that I dragged out of the garage while eight grand kids, Carol, her two daughters, Michelle, and three of four dogs arrayed themselves on the stone fence beside the driveway.

After this Jo and Vivian and Evan stayed sitting on that fence for a few more seconds. It was enough to take this second photograph. Evan is surprised. Jo and Vivian are unusually serene. And there is a bit of the hill country in the background. My world in one picture frame.
