Earlier, after dinner Jo and the kids made a gingerbread man. Well - not strictly. A sugar cookie in the shape of a gingerbread man cookie because Jo diesn't like gingerbread cookies as much as sugar cookies. A giant gingerbread man. The kids loved making it. Then they loved decorating it. And finally they loved eating it. We watched Luke meet Yoda in the second Star Wars movie in between preparing and decorating and eating the cookie. Evan hadn't finished his gingerbread man foot and so while Vivian was brushing her teeth he went back to the dining table to polish off the last bit of foot.
