On the other side of the lake from the house is this nature reserve. The other day we went to check it out. At one end there are these lava flows. We scrambled up one and then almost didn't know how to bet back down. I told Vivian and Evan that we'd just have to spend the rest of our lives up there. "What will we eat?" Evan asked. "Moss" we told him.
