Now That He's Here

I thought having kids taught me everything I need to know about patience and not being selfish (I could have written the Manifesto of Impatient Selfish Bastards prior to Vivian and Evan). However, nothing has prepared me for taking care of my dad. Love him to death. But.

Evan on the other hand is really enjoying having Grandpa around. He interacts with him constantly and in a variety of ways. Chatting, laughing, holding his hand, trying to jump on him, bringing him things, asking him to eat, chugging milk with him and yelling "cheers Grandpa!". It's pure joy to see them together. And it's the only thing that makes my dad crack a smile.
