The weather apps predicted rain all Saturday afternoon. So we got out in the morning and drove to Govalle Park and then rode three miles out and three miles back on the Southern Walnut Creek trail. Evan kept up with us on his single speed tiny bike while Vivian felt like we were holding her back the whole time.
I wouldn't call the trail beautiful but some parts are pretty and there's no vehicular traffic. And though there were hoards of fast riders in tight pants, everyone was very polite.
The Land Rover managed to hold all our bikes inside. But I'm in the market for a tow-hitch attached bike carrier because the tan interior and leather doesn't not mix well with bike tire tread marks and chain grease.
