Visiting Hours

Vivian and Evan have been visiting their dear friend who is camping out at the hospital.

It turns out that a trip to the hospital was much needed. They were much reassured when they met their friend and played with her. The hospital didn't feel scary. The kids roamed the hallways and interacted with physical/digital art and x-boxes and ran around and explored in the garden. On their second visit they took a neighbor. Yesterday they went for a third time. They may not understand the details but IV ports and MRIs are now a part of their lingo.

What is their framework to understand un-wellness? By the end of the second visit both Evan and Vivian said "I wish I could be in the hospital. It's so cool. And no school!"
