Camo

Vivian had belt testing the other afternoon. She's the second from the left in the front row below. She has a camo belt. After testing she received a camo belt with a bit of black rubber stuck to it. It's called "camo-decided" she explained. It seemed more like "camo-plus sixty five bucks" to me. She loves Taekwondo and her instructor is great so it's all worth it. But I got to thinking about camo. Is it a real belt or a redneck invention? I looked it up in that great thing called google. Apparently it's an official American Taekwondo Association belt. The significance of camo is:
"The sapling is hidden amongst the taller pines and must now fight its way upward."
No bullshit.

In an unrelated coincidence that makes one realize that there is something bigger than oneself out there, soon after the camo belt incident we were driving through the center of New Braunfels.
If you have been avoiding coffee, beer and other beverages it's going to be alright now. Because your camo cup awaits you at the Rudy's. No one will catch you drinking.
